The short version: without an account, your album never leaves your device. With an account, we store your email, your album data, and any images you upload — solely to run the service. We show no ads and never sell your data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) pixel to understand our traffic. Email us any time to delete everything.
The site works fully without signing in. In that case your album progress and uploaded images are stored only in your own browser (using localStorage and IndexedDB) on your own device — none of it is sent to our servers. Visiting the site does load the analytics tools described in section 4, which collect general visit data, but your album contents and images are never part of that.
Our infrastructure providers also process basic technical data (like IP addresses in server logs) as part of operating any online service securely.
We don't show ads on the site. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone. We don't send marketing email.
We use two common third-party tools to understand how the site is used:
These providers process visit data (like your IP address, pages viewed, and browser details) under their own privacy policies. Your album contents, uploaded images, and email address are never shared with them. If you'd rather not be counted, most ad-blockers and private browsing modes block both tools, Google offers an opt-out browser add-on, and Meta lets you manage this in your ad preferences.
If you choose to share a "swap link," the link itself encodes which stickers you have spare and which you're missing, so anyone you send it to can see that list. It doesn't include your name, email, or images. Only share swap links with people you want to trade with.
Account data is stored with our hosting providers: Supabase (database, sign-in, and image storage; servers in the United States) and Resend (delivers our sign-in emails). If you use Google sign-in, Google processes that login. These providers act on our behalf and don't get to use your data for their own purposes. The analytics tools in section 4 are the exception — they operate under their own policies, as described there.
We use your browser's local storage for your album data and for the token that keeps you signed in. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies as described in section 4; there are no other third-party cookies.
We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@sticker-album.com from your account's email address and we'll remove it. You can clear on-device data any time with the site's "reset all progress" button or your browser's site-data controls.
Accounts are for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Wherever you live, we aim to honor the core privacy rights: you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, get a copy of it, or have it deleted. Email hello@sticker-album.com and we'll sort it out.
One honest limitation: the analytics data in section 4 is aggregate and isn't linked to your account or email, so we have no way to look up or delete any individual's share of it — the opt-outs in that section are the way to keep yourself out of it.
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and its date, and make significant changes noticeable on the site.
